The hard work began in November after speaking with Dan Garodnick from Riverside Park Conservancy about curating a summer 2021 public art show in the park.
It started with thinking, making lists and a lot of day dreaming, which was followed by long walks, many blisters, endless photographs, emails and zoom calls. Then there were the site visits; some virtual, others in frigid temperatures. Lengthy proposals came next. Some plans were scrapped, some added. Press releases were sent out today.
