| Selected Press | Curated by Karin Bravin and produced by BravinLee Programs, Studio in the Park celebrated the twentieth anniversary of Riverside Park Fund. On May 6th, 2006 ten site specific installations were on view in Riverside Park, Manhattan’s largest waterfront green space. Riverside Park stretches over four miles along the Hudson River and is one of the most interesting and beautiful parks in New York City. The Park offers a unique combination of man-made and natural elements and the art works located from 72nd Street to 153rd Street, responded to and intensified this relationship. The art infused the park with color and unexpected materials giving life to discreet areas of the Park and providing the viewer with visual surprises. |
