BravinLee editions produces high quality, hand-woven rugs made in Nepal designed by fine artists. BravinLee rugs are meant to be lived with, walked on and enjoyed as part of an interior. Though produced in limited editions, signed, numbered and designed by some of the most highly recognized artists working in the art world today, BravinLee rugs are comparable in price and quality to leading rug companies. BravinLee rugs are all hand-woven and dyed in Nepal at the highest possible quality. Woven at 100 to 150 knots per inch from materials such as wool, silk, allo and pashmina they are entirely handmade, from the spinning and dying of the wool to the weaving on the loom and finishing process. Each rug is one of a kind, and has been crafted by weavers in the Kathmandu area. Tibetan wool is known for its durability, rich texture and subtle color variation.

We are currently producing rugs with Chuck Close, Thomas Nozkowski, Jonathan Lasker, Robert Kushner, Peter Halley, James Siena, James Welling and Christopher Wool. Most importantly each rug contains a GoodWeave certified label that is individually numbered. This is the assurance that no child labor was used in the manufacture of our rug production. Further, with each sale a donation is made to GoodWeave with the mission to not only stop child labor, but build schools to further educate children in the Kathmandu area.
